Empowering Student Success: Maximizing Engage’s Potential for In-Person Teaching Part 2

The Center for Faculty Excellence invites you to our upcoming training series: Empowering Student Success: Maximizing Engage’s Potential for In-Person Teaching.

In this series, we will explore how to leverage the power of the Learning Management System (LMS) to enrich the classroom experience for both you and your students. This will lead to engaging your students more effectively and streamlining your teaching process. This session will benefit those faculty who are just starting with Engage, but all are welcome. We all learn best when we are learning from each other!  A virtual option will also be available.

This series is in three parts. It is recommended that you attend all three sessions.

Part 1 – Discussion and overview of the role of Engage for in-person teaching and how to organize your content in Engage for ease of use.

Part 2 – Walkthrough of building a companion shell in Engage.

Part 3 – Walkthrough of creating your gradebook in Engage and effectively managing it.

This is your chance to transform your teaching approach, connect with fellow faculty, and gain insights that will empower you to make the most out of our LMS tools! We hope to see you in these sessions.

Bonus

If you register and attend all three sections, you will be placed in a drawing to have one of your courses re-designed by our team. Five faculty members will be chosen for this drawing.
