Utica University teams with Kristin's Fund to host 'A Call to Men' Football Camp

Kristin's Fund aims to eliminate domestic violence by funding prevention education initiatives.

Utica University Football was proud to team up with Kristin’s Fund and A CALL TO MEN to host a free, two-day football camp for Mohawk Valley & Central New York athletes.
The “A CALL TO MEN Football Camp” focused not only on skills training, but character development, lessons on how to grow into respectful young men, and prevention strategies for dating violence and sexual assault. Utica University Head Coach Blaise Faggiano & the Pioneer Football staff ran the football skills portion of the camp.

Kristin's Fund was formed by the family of Kristin Palumbo-Longo, who was killed by her husband in September 2009 and aims to eliminate domestic violence by funding prevention education initiatives.
A CALL TO MEN educates men all over the world on healthy, respectful manhood. Embracing and promoting a healthy, respectful manhood prevents violence against women, sexual assault and harassment, bullying and many other social ills. It is a violence prevention organization and respected leader on issues of manhood, male socialization and its intersection with violence, and preventing violence against all women and girls.
